A woman has broken down in tears in court after being accused of stabbing her husband to death during a camping trip.
Ilknur Caliskan, 46, appeared at the Shepparton Magistrates’ Court in Victoria on Monday morning charged with murder.
Her husband Serdar Caliskan, 50, was found in a car with a stab wound on Spur Road in Clonbinane, north of Melbourne, at 11.30pm on Saturday.
Emergency services were called, but Mr Caliskan died at the scene. Police arrested and charged his wife.
Caliskan cried as the details surrounding her husband’s death were read.

Her loved ones in the front row of the court were also seen sobbing Herald Sun reported.
Caliskan had difficulty hearing the details of the case as they were read out due to problems with her hearing aids.
Her lawyer asked a nurse to help her. She claimed that her client’s hearing aids had run out of battery and she could not hear what was being said.
The court heard it was the first time Caliskan had been arrested.
She has not filed an application for bail. Caliskan was taken into custody.
She will appear in court again in December.
