Dame Helen Mirren, 78, shows off wildly curled hair as she dazzles in a silver mirror dress on the catwalk at L’Oréal’s Walk Your Worth show during Paris Fashion Week

Dame Helen Mirren showed off a wild hairstyle at the L’Oréal spring/summer 2024 catwalk show during Paris Fashion Week on Sunday.

The actress, 78, looked sensational in a flowing silver dress with a tastefully cinched waist for the Walk Your Worth show in the French capital.

As he swept the floor, the sleeves of the garment reached the ground and the garment glittered under the bright lights as the star walked.

But it was Dame Helen’s voluminous hair that was strikingly different for this event.

Her locks were curled and styled so that they extended out on either side of her head, with her tresses resting on her shoulders.

The star usually wears her hair in a much shorter style, with Dame Helen pictured at a screening of Golda in London on Thursday with her hair in a bob.

Her bleached blonde hair was neatly brushed and straightened into a side parting, reaching above her shoulders.

Dame Helen was joined on the L’Oreal catwalk by the likes of Kendall Jenner, Viola Davis and Elle Fanning near the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Andie MacDowell and Bollywood legend Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also made welcome appearances.

The famous brand’s ambassadors gathered in the French capital for the Walk Your Worth show – a powerful celebration of womanhood.

All brand spokespeople walked the catwalk, along with other guests including Marie Bochet, Cindy Bruna, Camila Cabello, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Luma Grothe, Liya Kebede, Katherine Langford, Aja Naomi King, Soo Joo Park and Yseult.

Kendall, 27, accentuated her slim physique in an elegant silver dress and inevitably claimed the spotlight as the event got underway.

Meanwhile, actress Elle, 25, turned heads in a plunging gold evening dress with a semi-sheer detail.

Andie, the star of Four Weddings And A Funeral, bucked the trend and opted for a cool black PVC jacket over a matching bralette and high-waisted PVC trousers.

The actress, 65, completed her catwalk look with a pair of chunky silver heels, while dramatic make-up drew further attention to her subtly proportioned facial features.

Indian actress Aishwarya, 49, was on hand to co-host Sunday’s event, and she was suitably dressed for the occasion in a heavily embellished gold dress with flared overlays.

Eva Longoria, 48, was also on hand to add some extra glamor to the catwalk, and the Latina star looked stunning in a sheer layered dress as she joined her fellow ambassadors.

Apparently in good spirits, the Desperate Housewives actress waved to guests as she made her latest promotional appearance on behalf of the cosmetics brand.

Rochelle Humes made a surprise appearance at the event, walking the runway in a figure-hugging sequin dress with a thigh-high slash.

The This Morning co-host, 34, added to the look with a pair of black strappy heels, while her hair was parted to the side and pushed away from her face.

A L’Oreal Paris representative confirmed the Eiffel Tower event in a September 12 press release: “In the heart of the fashion capital of the world, the esplanade of the iconic ‘Iron Lady’ will set the stage for a spectacular tribute to empowerment of women – the first major event ever to take place at this monumental site.’

It is the sixth Walk Your Worth catwalk show to take place during Paris Fashion Week – with which L’Oréal is the official partner – since 2017.

The rep added that it will “celebrate sisterhood and synergy between cutting-edge beauty expertise and fashion.”
