X-CEO Linda Yaccarino shared the latest daily active user statistics from the platform, which shows that the number of millions of users has fallen before Elon Musk Twitter took over.

Linda Yaccarino recently appeared on stage for an interview with CNBC’s Julia Boorstin at Vox Media’s Code 2023 event. During the 45-minute interview, she shared previously unknown statistics about the company. Throughout the interview she repeated that she has only been working at X for twelve weeks. She revealed that X is losing active users daily after Elon Musk took over.

At the technology conference, Yaccarino said the company currently has 225 million daily active users — a decline of tens of millions, or 11.6 percent, of users from just before Musk took over the company. The CEO also claimed: “90 percent of the top 100 advertisers have returned to the platform in the last twelve weeks alone.”

Last year, Elon Musk posted a series of tweets showing that Twitter had 254.5 million daily active users.
