Anne Hathaway met an old friend on Thursday.
The 40-year-old actress posed with 74-year-old Meryl Streep during the show the Clooney Foundation For Justice’s second annual Albie Awards New York City on Thursday.
The two ladies played the leading roles in the 2006 blockbuster The Devil Wears Prada.
Meryl was in sensible black while Anne Put on a glamorous show in a fitted slip dress with a light green and silver checkered pattern from Versace.
There was also Emily Blunt, 40, who played Meryl’s annoying assistant. She was pictured with her husband John Krasinski.

The plot: Andy (Hathaway) has just graduated and has big dreams. When she gets a job at the prestigious magazine Runway, she becomes an assistant to the devilish editor Miranda Priestly (Streep). Andy questions her ability to survive her grim tour as Miranda’s whipping girl without getting scorched.
There was speculation that the film would be about Anna Wintour and Vogue.
The film also starred Emily Blunt and had a cameo from Gisele Bundchen.
The event was hosted by Amal and George Clooney.
At the star-studded affair honoring “defenders of justice,” she dressed to the nines, pairing her Versace dress — which supermodel Claudia Schiffer debuted on the runway at Milan Fashion Week a few days earlier — with matching silver accessories .

To elevate her look, she accessorized with several chunky tennis bracelets and silver statement rings.
The Golden Globe winner styled her brunette locks in a voluminous half-up, half-down style to complete her elegant look.
She also donned a sultry makeup look to highlight her glowing skin and sharp facial features.

The brunette beauty – who is known for her ever-youthful face and was recently named as an ambassador for Shiseido’s Vital Protection line – plays his wife and former therapist, Patricia.

According to the synopsis, the funny film follows Steven Lauddem (Dinklage) as he struggles with a creative block and fails to come up with a new masterpiece for his long-awaited comeback to opera.
His wife Patricia encourages him to seek inspiration. After seeking her advice, he rediscovers his passion after an unexpected one-night stand.
He meets a free-spirited tugboat captain and goes with her on ‘an unpredictable journey into unknown waters’.
She Came To Me – written and directed by Rebecca Miller – opens in theaters on October 6.
