Built in 1929, the mansion is located in the prestigious Melbourne suburb of Toorak, home to some of the most expensive real estate in the country. It has five bedrooms and five bathrooms.
A beautiful blend of modern, chic and classic style, the house with its white exterior and epic arches is designed to recall a Mediterranean ‘palazzo’.
The country house, called ‘Karum’, retains much of its historic opulence and features fireplaces, coffered ceilings and wooden floors.
The expansive open plan layout on the ground floor includes an informal dining area that opens onto an ‘entertainment’ terrace.
The adjacent extra-large kitchen has marble worktops and a breakfast bench.
Other highlights include a master bedroom with a marble bathroom, walk-in wardrobe and dressing room.
There are also multiple living areas, a formal dining room, a study and a classic ‘sitting room’.
According to the report, Prior is being sold due to business commitments abroad, and there are high expectations for a promising sale.

Last year, Crypto entrepreneur E Craven bought a nearby mansion for $80 million.
Another grand house on St Georges Road, the area’s ‘millionaire’s row’, went under the hammer in 2022 for $74.5 million.
It comes after Prior bought the Bladnoch Distillery in 2015, which was bankrupt and had not produced whiskey for several years, after selling his organic yoghurt business Five:am for $80 million.
