Former WWE superstar Manu has been hospitalized and is currently fighting for his life due to a serious heart problem.
The 38-year-old, whose real name is Afa Anoa’i Jr, represented the Anoa’i dynasty before the rise of current WWE stars Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa.
a GoFundMe was set up by Mike Kleckner while Afa Jr.’s family Trying to raise $100,000 to cover medical bills.
In the fundraiser, Kleckner wrote, “Currently he is fighting for his life. Afa was rushed to hospital on Saturday September 23 and discovered that he has a serious and unexpectedly complex heart problem.

“He’s had a lot of tests and major heart procedures. His cardiac injection fraction is only functioning at 35% and his heart is filling with fluid over the hours.
‘Afa has an extremely long road to recovery. He needs major medical bills and medications.”
To date, more than $7,000 has been raised, with WWE Hall of Famer Michael Hayes contributing $500, while former WWE NXT star Killian Dain donated $250.
After a brief stint in WWE’s Deep South Wrestling and Florida Championship Wrestling, Afa Jr made his mainline debut in 2007 and reappeared a year later as part of The Legacy with Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes.
He left WWE in 2009, but revealed earlier this year that he was working with the company on a number of projects, stating “I’m trying to get back on the radar.”
