Tom Brady is done with stress eating.

After 23 NFL seasons, the 46-year-old retiree says he has lost 10 pounds since leaving the sport because he has less stress in his life.

“I haven’t had the stress that I had playing, so that’s allowed me to focus a little more on my physical health,” Brady said during a recent episode of the “Let’s Go” podcast with co-hosts Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion then gave a glimpse into his hierarchy of needs.

“You could prioritize many other things: career, children, relationships, family, the common good, community,” he said. “But ultimately, physical and mental health should be at the top of the pyramid.”

Of course, Brady is active in the wellness industry through his TB12 brand, which sells everything from sporting goods to protein supplements. That’s probably why he often finds ways to incorporate health tips into every on-air discussion.

Although Brady now claims to have lost weight due to reduced stress, it was reported earlier in January that he lost 15 pounds during his divorce and eventual divorce from Gisele Bundchen. The Buccaneers finished 8-9 in 2022 — Brady’s first losing season as a starting quarterback.

‘Tampa Bay’s team had a difficult time this season’ ESPN’s Jeff Darlington said on January 26. “There’s no question the offense never clicked…but Brady also knows his own mental focus was off for most of the season.

“His physical stature, faced with 15 pounds of weight loss, was also at risk.”
