Jada Pinkett Smith is SLAMMED for ‘humiliating’ her husband Will Smith as video of her confessing to CHEATING and saying she ‘never wanted to be married’ resurfaces in the wake of her gushing birthday tribute to him

Jada Pinkett Smith has been criticized for her treatment of husband Will Smith, as fans called out her past confessions after she posted a bubbly birthday tribute.

The actress, 50, posted a heartfelt message to her 25-year-old husband on Instagram on Monday on his 55th birthday.

But the post was quickly flooded with scathing comments from other social media users who criticized the sentiment in light of Jada’s previous comments about their marriage.

The mother-of-two previously revealed how she cried all the way down the aisle on her wedding day before calling the yearlong affair with R&B singer August Alsina, now 31, an “entanglement.”

The birthday tribute, shared with Jada’s 11.4 million followers, included a black-and-white throwback photo of the couple and their two children, as well as Will’s son, Trey, from a previous marriage.

She wrote: ‘Willard. I’m so happy you were born on this day. Without you, I would not have experienced the greatest joy of my life… the love of our family.

“In this divine assignment we have chosen to walk together, I am grateful for the sources of laughter along the paths of tears we have shared.

“Thank you for helping me embrace everything… with a smile. Here’s to more than 100 more birthdays full of growth, acceptance and joy.’

But it was quickly met with backlash, with many quick to allude to Jada’s previous confessions about marriage.

One wrote: ‘I hope you stop humiliating him.’

Another said: ‘Didn’t you cheat? Get real!!”

And a third sarcastically added: ‘Aren’t you glad you married him even though you cried and didn’t want to? Very cute.’

The comments referenced a series of revelations Jada has previously made about her relationship with Will.

In 2018, during an episode of Red Table Talk where Will appeared as a guest, Jada insisted she “never wanted to get married” — after tying the knot on New Year’s Eve 1997 at the Gothic Cloisters Castle in a suburb of her hometown of Baltimore.

In the newly surfaced clip, the star discussed her reservations about marriage before revealing that she decided to tie the knot with Will to calm her mother down after she became pregnant.

Will and Jada had their son Jaden while they were still dating and Jada said on the show, “I knew the moment after the act that I was pregnant.”

She revealed that she “cried that whole night” because she realized “my life would never be the same” after becoming a mother.

“I really didn’t want to get married,” Jada admitted, prompting Will to say with a laugh, “We only got married because Gammy cried.”

“It was almost like Gammy was saying, ‘You have to get married, so let’s talk about the wedding,'” Jada said, noting that “I was under so much pressure, you know, being a young actress, being young, and I was just pregnant and I was like, I didn’t know what to do, but I just knew, I was like, I never wanted to get married.’

“I remember having a really strong feeling and wanting you guys to get married,” said Adrienne, who was a teenager when she became pregnant with Jada and briefly married father Robsol Pinkett Jr.

‘I remember that, but I don’t remember you rejecting the idea of ​​marriage. I remember the rejection of the idea of ​​a wedding, but not a marriage,” she added.
