Travis Kelce breaks his silence on his weekend with Taylor Swift and jokes his personal life ‘is not so personal’ any more in podcast with brother Jason
Travis Kelce has broken his silence on his weekend with Taylor Swift, but fans will have to wait a few more hours to find out what exactly happened between the two.
Kansas City Chiefs star Travis and his older brother Jason, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL, have a podcast together called “New Heights” and a teaser clip was sent out on social media Tuesday night.
“We’ve been avoiding this topic out of respect for your personal life – now we need to talk about it,” Jason says in the 21-second clip.
“My personal life isn’t that personal,” Travis jokes. “I did this to myself Jason, I know this.”
Jason continues, “So Trav, how does it feel that Taylor Swift has finally put you on the map?”
The clip then ends with Travis laughing, with the caption of the footage saying the full episode launches on Wednesday.
Travis and Taylor were the hottest story all week after she accepted his offer to watch him play for the Chiefs amid their dating links.
Swift, 33, took a seat next to Travis’ mother Donna at The Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday afternoon. She was wearing a red and white Chiefs jersey, but ironically, until now, she had always been a fan of the Eagles, Jason’s team.
Travis delivered while Taylor watched – scoring a touchdown as the Chiefs, last season’s Super Bowl winners, defeated the Chicago Bears 41-10. Taylor appeared to shout “let’s go” in response to Kelce’s touchdown reception in the third quarter, in which he led the Chiefs in receiving with seven catches for 69 yards and the touchdown grab.
After the match, the two were seen together for the first time as they walked out of the stadium side by side. Fans spotted the couple driving around Kansas City in his vintage convertible later that evening.
On social media, fans got excited about the new footage, as one person commented: “Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce driving in a convertible through Kansas City, Missouri is the US equivalent of the Royal Wedding.”
