John Mulaney, 41, announces his 18-city stand-up comedy tour, titled John Mulaney In Concert, with its first stop in a small New York town
Comedian John Mulaney has announced a solo stand-up comedy tour titled John Mulaney in Concert.
The Emmy-winning comic, 41, kicks off his final tour in Kingston, New York on November 2.
John – who enjoyed a beach day with his family this summer – will hit US cities including Los Angeles, New Orleans and Tampa before wrapping up his tour and 2023 on New Year’s Eve in Phoenix.
The new tour follows his April Netflix special Baby J, for which he was nominated for two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-recorded) and Outstanding Writing For A Variety Special.
Baby J talked about Mulaney’s experience with addiction, his intervention and his process of getting and staying sober.
He has a child with partner Olivia Munn.

He also had three previous Netflix specials: The Comeback Kid, Kid Gorgeous and John Mulaney & the Sack Lunch Bunch, all of which are streaming on Netflix.
Mulaney was a staff writer for Saturday Night Live, where he is credited with creating the recurring Stefon character along with Bill Hader.
The comedian has been open about his long history of struggles with drug addiction and alcoholism and often used his personal stories in his act.
In 2014, the Documentary Now writer said he had been sober since September 2005.
In December 2020, he entered a drug rehabilitation program for abusing cocaine, alcohol and prescription drugs.
In 2021, he admitted that he checked into rehab in September 2020, but left the program to host SNL in October 2020 and subsequently relapsed.
His friends — including Seth Meyers, Natasha Lyonne, Fred Armisen, Bill Hader and Nick Kroll — staged an intervention that led to his trip to rehab in December 2020.
Mulaney split from his wife of seven years, Annamarie Tendler, in May 2021 and announced he was expecting a baby with current girlfriend Olivia Munn, 43, in July of that same year.
