On Tuesday, she was seen in a black and white dress and matching hat as she posed on the cover City and country magazine with her dog Pilaf.

Also on the cover were the diva Diane Lane and Chloe Sevigny.

The trio appeared to be dressed in an homage to Truman Capote’s infamous black and white ball, a fitting theme as the article focuses on their work in the upcoming series Feud: Capote Vs The Swans.

Demi, 60, who recently wowed while attending Milan Fashion Week, was reminiscent of the dress Audrey Hepburn wore as Eliza Doolittle in the film My Fair Lady.

The Brave New World star’s hair was pulled back into a sleek bun and she wore a matching wide-brimmed hat. A collar made of red silk roses was designed to gently frame her face.

The Emmy nominee wore natural-looking makeup with a muted lip, and she brought her beloved dog Pilaf to the shoot.

Demi, Diane and Chloe star alongside Naomi Watts and Molly Ringwald in the series, which is developed by Ryan Murphy.

It focuses on writer Truman Capote and the group of New York socialites he called the “Swans.”

“They looked like the original Real Housewives,” Ryan told the outlet.

“That’s something people are obsessed with now.”

All interviews with the actresses took place before the current SAG/AFTRA strike.

Demi stars as Ann Woodward, who was a friend of the In Cold Blood author for years before he betrayed her secrets, and those of others, in his short story La Côte Basque, 1965, which was published in Esquire.

The copy implied that Ann, who fatally shot her husband and said she thought he was a burglar, had actually shot him on purpose.

For Demi, the appeal of the project wasn’t necessarily the scandal, but the author’s contribution to another beloved book.

“I was generally aware that Truman was betraying these close friends who were really his entry into this world that he wanted so much,” the Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle star explained.

‘But I didn’t know the details. I was more aware and intrigued by the idea that he is the inspiration for Dill in To Kill a Mockingbird. I have a daughter named Scout, so that book is obviously very important to me.”
