Princesses Chiara de Bourbon des Deux Sicilies and sister Carolina make Paris Fashion Week debut on Pierre Cardin catwalk (as proud ‘mom-ager’ looks on)
Princesses Maria Carolina de Bourbon des Deux Bourbon des Deux Sicilies and sister Maria Chiara wowed in their shades of blue as they made their modeling debut in Paris.
The Italian heiress sisters, daughters of Prince Carlo, Duke of Castro – who lays claim to the now-defunct throne of the former House of Bourbon-Two Sicilies – and Princess Camilla, Duchess of Castro, paraded on Pierre Cardin’s catwalk yesterday.
The sisters, who are enjoying a higher public profile after Chiara was linked to their heir to the Danish throne Prince Christian, attended the Pierre Cardin Womenswear Spring/Summer 2024 show as part of Paris Fashion Week.
Carolina, 19, and Chiara, 18, dazzled in striking avant-garde dresses as they oozed confidence as they walked the catwalk.
Princess Chiara, who recently issued a statement denying she was in a relationship with the Danish royal family, wowed in her two-tone bandeau-style dress, adorned with elaborate gold detailing.

Princess Carolina stunned in a deep blue off-the-shoulder dress with a unique white trim.
Her ensemble was completed with silver pointed heels and her blonde locks were pulled back in a sleek, glamorous style.
The model’s glamorous makeup enhanced their flawless complexion and was completed with an extravagant shimmering blue eyeshadow look.
Their mother, Camilla de Bourbon des Deux Sicilies, attended the show to support the launch of her daughter’s modeling career, and beamed as she posed for a photo with the pair.
Now that the sisters have become the faces of Pierre Cardin’s latest line, they will add catwalk models to their list of achievements and have also become TV stars this summer.
Last month, the sisters announced they would star in “Côte d’Azur: In the Privacy of Billionaires, Stars & Princesses” on French streaming service myCANAL.
In a clip from the show shared on Instagram, Princess Carolina appeared to strike a modest pose while shopping for sandals at a French market. “I’m not interested in the brand,” she said.
During the clip we see the sisters enjoying the culture, restaurants and beautiful views that the French city has to offer.

Chiara later shared a photo of her and Carolina in boho-chic blue dresses with the same pattern and the caption: “I hope you like it.”
The streaming platform explained: ‘The Côte d’Azur fascinates the most fortunate, such as Princesses Carolina and Chiara de Bourbon des Deux-Sicilies or Pierre-Jean Chalençon.’
The news comes shortly after Chiara hit back at rumors that she is dating Prince Christian of Denmark.
The Italian heiress, 18, took to her Instagram account to break her silence on speculation about her and the 17-year-old future king, emphasizing that “although we all enjoy dreaming fairy tales, reality really matters.” ‘
She wrote: “I would like to set the record straight regarding the unfounded rumor circulating about me. Prince Christian and I have a close friendship.’

The glamorous socialite added that “this situation initially made me smile” as she further discussed the “inaccurate information.”
However, Chiara, the daughter of Prince Carlo, Duke of Castro, and Princess Camilla, Duchess of Castro, added: “I believe that now is the time to put an end to this rumor. When important events happen in my life, I will be happy to share them with you.’
Her statement read: “I would like to set the record straight regarding the unfounded rumor circulating about me. Prince Christian and I share a close friendship.
‘However, incorrect information has been spread. At first this situation made me smile; Over time, however, this rumor has crossed the boundaries of common sense and has become increasingly at odds with reality.

Speculation over whether the two were dating began in May when a group photo emerged on social media of the duo standing close to each other at the Monaco Grand Prix.
It was then reported that the prince – son of Crown Prince Frederik and Princess Mary – had received Chiara in Denmark in June and made the brave decision to introduce her to his grandmother, the Danish monarch.
‘Chiara was in awe of the queen. It was a dream of hers to meet such an iconic female ruler and she had been practicing her bows for months,” the source told Woman’s Day.
Chiara, who spent her summer in St Tropez with her sister Carolina, 20, recently told Italian newspaper Corriere: ‘We have known each other since we were little, my father Carlo is godfather to his younger sister.’
Her father Prince Carlo lays claim to the now-defunct throne of the former House of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, a cadet branch of the Spanish royal family, which descended from the Capetian dynasty and ruled southern Italy and Sicily in the 18th and 19th centuries . .
Meanwhile, her mother, Duchess Camilla, née Crociani, is the daughter of Italian industry tycoon Camilla Crociani and actress Edy Vessel.
Although Chiara enjoys appearing in the public eye, it appears that Prince Christian has kept his private life quiet and has said he will not receive a royal pension when he turns 18.
He will only receive money from the royal subsidy when his father ascends the throne, and will be limited in his royal duties until he turns 21.
