Kim Basinger was spotted in Los Angeles on Friday ahead of what will be her first red carpet walk in years in the coming weeks.

The Oscar-winning actress, 69, was dressed in a casual ensemble running errands and keeping the sun off her face with a large beige straw hat and black sunglasses.

The LA Confidential star wore a black jacket over a dark gray top with ash gray sweatpants and black open-toe sandals.

The Batman beauty carried a black woven tote bag as she ventured into the City of Angels on the cloudy day.

She is set to return to the Hollywood spotlight when she attends the celebrity fundraiser Last Chance For Animals on October 14 in Beverly Hills at the Beverly Hilton hotel, which DailyMail.com first reported.

The outing will mark a rare appearance in the spotlight for the actress, whose last red carpet appearance came at the same event in October 2019, when she was among the nominees.

The actress, who turns 70 on December 8, will be one of many famous faces at the event, as other notable attendees include Priscilla Presley, Baywatch star Donna D’Errico, La Bamba actor Esai Morales and Hugh Hefner’s widow Crystal Hefner.

Winners at the event will include Oscar-winning songwriter Diane Warren receive the Sam Simon Prize.

Singer-songwriter EG Daily will receive the Celebrity Activist Award, while entrepreneur Bobi Leonard will receive the Albert Schweitzer Award.

Basinger appeared on Red Table Talk last year with her daughter Ireland Baldwin, where she expressed her withdrawal.
