Laura Anderson slams mum-shamers after suffering backlash for detailing her parenting decisions with baby daughter Bonnie Rose
Laura Anderson hit back at mom-shamers on Saturday before they had a chance to accuse her of her “controversial” parenting decisions.
The former Love Island star, 32, gave birth to a baby girl, Bonnie Rose, who she shares with on/off boyfriend Gary Lucy, earlier this month.
And she openly shares insight into her life as a new parent with her fans on Instagram.
The influencer shared on Instagram that she left Bonnie Rose to “cry it out” after “running out of ideas” on how to stop herself from crying.
She wrote: ‘What a day and it’s not even over yet. No nap longer than 20 minutes and fed every hour. I had to make Bonnie cry it out because I’m out of ideas.

‘3 weeks today, wow what a turn from angel child to (devil emoji).
“Praying tonight, this isn’t happening and she’s settling because I’m exhausted.
“Whose idea was it to have a baby,” she joked with laughing crying emojis.
But before any negative comments came her way, Laura shared another post explaining her reasons behind the decision.
Defending herself, she wrote: ‘When I said cry it out I meant about 2.5 seconds so I could think of another solution as it was the first time she cried so hard and I wasn’t able to do this quick to straighten out, cold peeps.
“She skipped a nap and was overtired, which just spiraled things out. Tomorrow is a new day. Currently working on unclogging the milk ducts in the tub, woo!’
It comes after she proudly showed off her postpartum figure on Wednesday, sharing a video of herself in her mirror and opening up about her recovery after the birth of her daughter.
She captioned the clip: “I was just about to share this with my friends and family but who cares. This is my postpartum body day 12.
‘I’m actually feeling good today. (I swear it’s the fake tan) I’m starting pelvic floor exercises tomorrow to bring the abs back together, but I’m feeling pretty good today.’

Open: On Tuesday, Laura gave her fans a candid update on Bonnie’s feeding journey as she shared a nude photo of her breastfeeding
Laura then joked: ‘PS I hope you like my disposable panties and no, I haven’t washed my hair in a while.’
However, in the caption of the post, she confessed that she found postpartum “the hardest part of pregnancy.”
She wrote, “Postpartum is hands down the hardest part of pregnancy in my opinion. Not that I’m complaining, life is great and I’m very lucky to have a healthy baby girl in my arms, but it’s a lot.
‘I’d like to share my recovery must-haves with anyone who needs to start soon, and generally what I’ve learned and need most after giving birth.
‘Hats off to all the mums and supportive dads out there, I actually think there should be some emotional support for partners even after birth.’
Laura went further by encouraging new moms to take pride in their “perfect” postpartum bodies and give themselves the opportunity to heal.
She said, “Anyway, not my usual post but I just wanted to say what your postpartum body looks like, just know that it is perfect, you will heal and even if we don’t go back to our old selves, maybe the new us will still to be better .
“I say this as I currently soothe my saggy breasts in the bath and thank them for feeding Bubba every day. All my love L & B.’
