I work at McDonald’s – here’s what the fast food chain won’t tell you about how your favorite menu items are REALLY made

  • A TikTok user going by the name ‘Blexican’ filmed the food items in McDonald’s
  • She showed off bags of ready-made scrambled egg patties, pancakes and burrito mix
  • Blexican told its followers that the workers ‘do nothing but warm them up’

A McDonald’s worker has given viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the fast food chain by taking them into the kitchen to show how orders are actually made.

The employee, known on TikTok as Blexican, posted a message an eye-opening video showing exactly what Golden Arches products look like before they are served to customers.

During the 16-second clip, Blexican’s video caption reads, “Things McDonald’s Won’t Tell Y’all.”

The 20-year-old employee takes her followers into the kitchen and shows them clear packages with twelve ready-made scrambled egg patties, ten round pancakes and white bags of egg-sausage-vegetable mix for burritos.

In the viral clip, Blexican stated that the eggs, pancakes and burrito mix are “already made.”

She informs viewers that the workers “do nothing but heat them up (eggs and pancakes).”

Foodies flocked to the comments and had mixed opinions about her video.

Most were not surprised by the ready-made and preheated food, with one person writing: ‘It’s called fast food for a reason.’

‘What? You want to tell me Gordan Ramsey is NOT there preparing my burrito,” another wrote sarcastically.

A third wrote: ‘Did anyone think it was homemade? We know that everything I have is frozen and just needs to be microwaved.”

But one angry customer questioned the wait time, writing: ‘Why are they waiting in line for so long with the food already ready?’

A former McDonald’s employee shared what food preparation at the chain used to be like, explaining, “Wow, I feel really old that we use to make the eggs, the burrito mix and the hot cakes.”

Another unhappy customer wrote: ‘How old is s**t? It’s getting hot and they’re charging $8 to $9 for a combo everywhere, everyone needs to stop going to the restaurants.”

Blexican filmed a video response and spoke directly to the camera in the 15-second clip.

‘Complaining about the prices, when you have to pay everything to get your food, is insane. You’re complaining about what? You still get your food. You’re still going to eat there. Y’all are not seeing it right,” she argued.
