It is understood Adam and a friend were being chased down a street near his home when the attack occurred.

A local woman said she heard “men” shouting outside her home and a car screeching away.

Another woman, Tiffany, said she found Adam unconscious next to her driveway.

A “shattered” Wyndham Vale mother whose own son was best friends with Adam described him as “such a funny and caring young man.”

“(I) can’t believe you’re gone, Adam. I loved you as if you were my own son. You were always my son’s best friend.’

She shared a hashtag #justiceforadam in two posts.

A friend of Adam echoed the reference to “justice.”

“Rest in peace brother, I’m sorry I couldn’t save you, all I could do was hold you, you will get justice for this,” he wrote.
