Britney Spears’ black 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLK350 was once called “the most dangerous car in LA.”
The Womanizer singer – who will release her memoir The Woman in Me next month – was driving the car during her 2007 meltdown as she ran red lights to avoid paparazzi, had fender benders and infamously used an umbrella to throw a photographer off to keep out.
It has been on display at the Volo Auto Museum in Illinois since 2011, but now the owner of that location is putting it up for sale.
The car’s fame, in addition to its former famous owner, is the fact that it is one of the most photographed cars of all time.

The car became almost as famous as Britney when she took it for late-night joyrides sixteen years ago.
This is also the same car she used to change her son’s diaper on the side of the road.
The convertible was also involved in a collision when it backed into another car in a parking lot.
When Britney notoriously got out of the car in a micro mini with no underwear on and showed off to the paparazzi, it was in this car too.
The erratic behavior she displayed at the time led to her involuntary admission to a mental health facility in early 2008.
Later that same year, the circus singer was placed under the conservatory that would guide her life for the next 13 years.
All these incidents and her time under conservatorship are expected to be discussed by the Baby One More Time hitmaker in her upcoming memoir The Woman in Me.
The book is scheduled for release on October 24, and the Toxic Pony singer shared a sneak peek at her book’s printing on Friday.
