I sleep in ‘one of American’s most haunted houses’ from horror classic The Conjuring… and I talk to GHOSTS

A woman who works in the real-life ‘Conjuring house’ that inspired the horror movie franchise has revealed what it’s like inside the terrifying home.

Madison Heinzen has amassed more than 1.4 million followers by creating TikTok videos about her life working on the farm that inspired the paranormal films.

From house tours to livestreams, the TikToker gives viewers an inside look at what it’s like to work and sleep in “one of the most haunted houses in America.”

The infamous house was the subject of the 2013 horror film that focused on its real-life former owners, the Perron family, who lived there in the 1970s.

Madison says she ‘Talk to Ghosts’ and even claims to have captured the face of one on camera.

She told viewers: ‘I found this footage that I filmed and it’s a six second video but something really caught my attention…

‘I thought I saw something moving in the right corner, so I decided to crop the video and slow down the frames. You won’t believe what I saw.’

She saw what she thought looked like a face and it “scared her so much.”

However, nothing has scared her so much that she quits her job at the infamous Rhode Island ranch where she often spends the night.

Madison is fascinated by the supernatural and her job involves running operations in the house and leading tours for visitors.

Her parents, Jenn and Cory Heinzen, who are paranormal investigators, owned the property before it was sold for $1.5 million. They lived there for two years.

The Harrisville farm is one of the most famous “haunted houses” in the United States and was originally built in 1763, although records only go back to 1836.

As seen in the 2013 film, Carolyn and Roger Perron moved in with their five daughters in 1971 and began noticing strange things happening.

The “paranormal activity” started out as harmless occurrences like slamming doors and shaking beds, but one ghost was “angry and violent.”

Andrea Perron, the eldest of the Perron girls, spoke to USA today about the experiences in 2013.

She said, “My mother began to speak a language that was not of this world, in a voice that was not hers. Her chair floated and she was thrown across the room.”

Allegedly, eight generations of one family had lived on the farm and died under mysterious and terrible circumstances.

In the film, the Perrons hired ghost hunters Ed and Lorraine Warren to investigate the property and rid it of the ghosts lurking there.

Madison’s work is not for the easily frightened, although she makes light of it with humor in her videos.

In one clipshe jokes, “If your job is to play Five Nights at Freddy’s in real life, but with ghosts,” as she films herself watching the house’s security cameras at night.

In another, using what appears to be ghost hunting gear, she wrote, “When the ghosts greet you by asking, ‘How are you?’

One shocked commenter wrote: ‘Don’t you get scared?’ to which she replied, “No! I love it here’.

In response to a comment, she said she has seen “full apparitions,” although this is not common, adding, “I have mostly seen outlines of shadow figures in the house though!”

When filming a “day in the life” video, Madison explained that the first thing she does is get up and check the security cameras.

She then “makes sure to greet the house” by saying good morning to it: “I don’t know why, it’s just something I’ve always done.”

People in the comments are surprised how she can stay so calm in a place that is ‘haunted’.

Another said: ‘You are so brave to sleep in that haunted house. If I ever come there as a guest. I will bring my sages, crystals and Bible.”

Would you be brave enough to spend the night?
