Angelica Ross says Emma Roberts was ‘the boss’ on American Horror Story set and ‘made sure everything went through her’

Angelica Ross has revealed more about her experience working with Emma Roberts on American Horror Story: 1984, after claiming earlier this week that Roberts made a transphobic comment on set.

In a new interview with The Hollywood ReporterRoss, 42, called Roberts, 32, the “boss” on the set of the FX series.

“She had her trailer outside the sound studio, not where all the other trailers were,” Ross said.

It comes after Angelica discussed the exchange on Instagram Live earlier this week, and later took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to say Roberts had reached out to apologize.

She apologized and said, ‘I hate that you left our experience together feeling like that. In retrospect I see what I did and how stupid it was. I am an ally,” Ross told THR.

Ross added, “I was like, ‘No, you’re not.’ You cannot call yourself an ally. It’s an action. You have to be real with me in this conversation. I’m being real with you. be messy.”

Ross added that Emma told her she hoped they could move forward and “work this out.”
