Wyndham Vale stabbing: Tragedy: Teenager, 18, killed during street fight between two groups in Melbourne

A teenager has been stabbed to death during a fight in Melbourne’s west, with detectives launching a murder investigation to find his killer.

Police say two groups of people were involved in a physical altercation in Wyndham Vale at around 9.45pm on Friday.

The fight is said to have taken place on Friday evening at Butler Grove off Ribblesdale Avenue in Wyndham Vale in Melbourne’s far south west.

An 18-year-old local man died at the scene.

Police have launched a murder investigation after a teenager was stabbed in Melbourne

Homicide detectives are investigating, but the circumstances surrounding the incident have not yet been determined and no one is in custody.

The two groups are probably known to each other, police said.
