Aerial footage taken by KTL showed the driver stopped on the highway when police pointed guns at him and he tried to free himself from the car.
It is unclear why the driver tried to exit the vehicle through the window, but as he struggled to wobble out, his pants quickly fell below his waist.
Police stood by as the driver continued to push himself out of the window, with his hands above his head, before theatrically landing on the ground with his pants still down on the road.
The bizarre chase across multiple highways in Los Angeles began just before 3 p.m. on Thursday afternoon.
Just half an hour later, the driver was heading north on the highway in the Exposition Park area and what appeared to be a flag was seen coming from the chase’s sunroof antennas.
The driver then heads west on the 10 Freeway before exiting Bundy Drive before heading east again just before 4 p.m.
The driver eventually exited the Freeway 10 at Crenshaw Boulevard and stopped briefly on the offramp before continuing on.

After getting stuck in traffic and making a comedy of errors, the driver made a U-turn and began driving erratically before ending up on the sidewalk to avoid traffic.
A pickup truck driver appeared to try to box in the suspect when police eventually surrounded the vehicle.
Nearby motorists quickly abandoned their cars on the highway in an attempt to avoid a possible crossfire as the suspect began to exit the stolen car.
As he attempted to exit the vehicle through the window, LAPD officers approached with weapons drawn.
