A missing 10-year-old Florida boy and his 11-year-old sister were found 200 miles from their hometown while driving their mother’s car on an early morning joyride through the Sunshine State.
The siblings were stopped when Alachua County Sheriff’s Office deputies spotted the white sedan driving along I-75 near Gainesville.
They were arrested around 3:50 a.m. Thursday after the car was reported stolen out of North Port, the sheriff’s office said.
Police were surprised when they approached the vehicle and watched as the brother and sister got out.
The 10-year-old was in the driver’s seat and his older sister was in the passenger seat.
Police were surprised to see two children get out of the car, while the 10-year-old stepped out with his hands above his head.

The mother and her two children have also not been identified and no injuries or damage have been reported.
