Dying retired doctor, 69, was seen stepping OVER unconscious woman on his yacht during porn-filming party fueled by PINK ketamine and ‘drugs’ shipped from Miami, new affidavit claims

A dying doctor accused of filming porn on his 80-foot Nantucket yacht stepped over a woman who had passed out and shipped drugs from Miami, it is claimed.

The unnamed woman allegedly told her ex that “they were doing drugs all weekend and the people on board (Dr. Scott Baker’s boat) were making pornographic films.”

Moments later, she lost consciousness while on the phone with her ex from 69-year-old Baker’s yacht JessConn, according to a new affidavit obtained by the Nantucket Current.

The man, from Texas, told Detective Amanda Schwenk that he saw “Burke step over (the woman), end the call, and he suspected he had turned the phone off because when he called , it went straight to voicemail.”

We don’t know what happened next. Meanwhile, the same affidavit says investigators found envelopes addressed to Burke filled with suspected drugs aboard the ship.

They had been mailed from a known Miami narcotics hot spot, with pink ketamine spotted on the edge of a bank card bearing Burke’s name, cops said.

The doctor has only months to live, according to his lawyer, and has been indicted on numerous drug and firearms charges following the raid.

Burke’s attorney, Hank Brennan, previously said the man made “inconsistent” statements to authorities.

“He’s a bitter ex-boyfriend who was upset that she wasn’t coming to see him and I wouldn’t put much stock in what he had to say,” Brennan told the Current. “His accounts are inconsistent.”

Investigators allegedly discovered two FedEx packages addressed to Burke, which had been sent from Miami, Florida, in priority mail envelopes.

The packages were the subject of a second search warrant, with investigators saying they came from a “high-intensity drug trafficking area.”

Drug detection dogs indicated the presence of a persistent narcotic odor coming from the packages, and they were transferred to the DEA task force for testing.

Police also seized the yacht’s video surveillance system, including memory cards, hard drives and other electronic storage devices. It’s unclear exactly what the images show.

A second woman is also mentioned in the affidavit, who claims that on September 4, Burke “was not speaking to her appropriately, was swearing and was rude, so she asked Burke to take her to town.”

She “ended up shopping, sightseeing and staying out for the evening” and was unable to tell officers where she had stayed, denying having been on the boat on September 5.

A Bank of America debit card bearing Burke’s name also contained “pink powder” on its edges, which was confirmed to be ketamine.

Authorities rushed to the boat after the woman on board told her friend on the phone that she wanted to leave, before passing out.

He then contacted law enforcement and told them she had overdosed, telling them the boat had ketamine, Adderall, ecstasy and cocaine on board.

Police sources previously told the Current that several prostitutes were found on the boat. No charges have been filed against Burke over these allegations.

A police report previously stated that officers raided the boat after reports that a distressed woman “did not feel safe” on board and may have suffered an overdose.

Burke was charged with one count of trafficking a Class B drug, one count of possession with intent to distribute a Class A drug, one count of possession of ammunition without a license and four counts of possession of a large capacity feeding device.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges and was “extremely uncooperative” when police boarded the yacht and was handcuffed and detained because of his behavior, according to an affidavit.

The married father of two said the woman who overdosed had been working for him for a few weeks and his friend was staying on the boat.

Burke, who practiced in Denver, Colorado, initially denied knowing there were illegal drugs on the luxury boat.

Both women also denied any knowledge of the drugs, although one claimed she had a prescription for Adderall.

Authorities found 43 grams of cocaine, 14 grams of ketamine, a .380 pistol, three 30-round 9mm magazines and a 12-round magazine in a 9mm pistol, according to the police report.

He also revealed that several rounds of ammunition were found on the floor of the yacht’s bedroom, with the doctor allegedly admitting the weapons were his.

Burke told authorities he owned the boat and had a permit to carry firearms – with the investigation confirming that Burke’s Florida carry permit expired in 2022.

He currently lives at the Ocean Reef Club, a private gated estate in Key Largo, Florida.

The area is known for its opulent residences, with a six-bed, 10-bath Ocean Reef home currently on the market for $35 million in the area.

Burke’s lawyer Henry Brennan – who once represented local crime boss Whitey Bulger – told the court during a hearing that his client was suffering from an unspecified type of terminal cancer.

Speaking to Nantucket District Judge James Sullivan last week, Brennan reportedly revealed Burke’s health problems, arguing that given Burke’s lack of criminal record, the court should choose not to hold him in pre-trial detention.

“That this man could spend the rest of his life waiting for a case in prison would be very, very tragic to me,” the lawyer argued.

Burke, who owns a $2.3 million mansion in Englewood, Colorado, appears to have named the vessel after his children.

He is also the director of JessConn Charters – based in Florida – although it is unclear how much or whether he charged clients for travel on a vessel used in that business.

It recently ran aground in Florida in May, but appears to have escaped without significant damage during the incident.

According to public records, Burke has a hearing in Nantucket scheduled for October. He is allowed to stay in Florida until then.
