A priest who ordered a prostitute then called an ambulance after his friend collapsed from an overdose of erectile dysfunction pills is under investigation by prosecutors.

According to local media, Father Tomasz Zmarzły of the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Angels in Poland organized a small party in his apartment in the town of Dąbrowa Górnicza.

But after taking large quantities of potency tablets, in the early hours of the morning, his naked friend collapsed.

The prostitute then called for help and the priest ordered him to leave.

When help arrived, they found the prostitute waiting outside the apartment, but Father Zmarzły refused to let them inside.

His friend reportedly collapsed after taking large quantities of powerful pills.

They then called the police who were eventually allowed in where they found the priest’s friend lying on the ground unconscious.

He was taken to hospital where he later recovered and was released from duty.

A source close to the incident told newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza: “The event was organized by the clergy and was purely sexual.

“Its participants were taking powerful pills.”

Informing his superior of the incident the next day, Father Zmarzły denied organizing a “gay orgy”.

The bishop of Sosnowiec, who oversees the disgraced priest’s parish, said he had appointed a commission “to urgently explain the circumstances of the situation.”

Meanwhile, prosecutors have opened their own investigation into the priest for failing to help his friend.

Deputy District Prosecutor Czesław Kurpiś said: “The local prosecutor’s office is conducting proceedings for failure to provide assistance to a person whose life is in danger.
