Candice Warner has slammed weight loss drug Ozempic and insisted there are “better ways” to lose fat.

The former Ironwoman, 38, told Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday at the launch of Goody Goody Sun Drops by Boost Lab, that she could see some benefits to using the drug, but that there is a “better way to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

“I can see the benefits for some people who might have sleep apnea, or who are extremely overweight and have trouble getting that motivation going again,” she said.

“But when people are using it for the wrong reasons in order to lose weight, there are better ways to live a healthier lifestyle than injecting once a week.”

Candice continued, “There’s nothing like getting outside, getting some fresh air, and being active.”

Ozempic and Wegovy have gained popularity since they became the first drugs proven to help with weight loss.

Celebrities like Elon Musk, Remi Bader, Chelsea Handler, and Amy Schumer have revealed that they use the drug to help lose fat.
