Shannon Beador spread rumors about RHOC castmate Gina Kirschenheiter’s drinking and driving arrest … before Beador crashed into house ahead of DUI arrest in Newport Beach
The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Shannon Beador – prior to her drunk driving arrest in Newport Beach, California on Saturday night, during which she drove into a house – gossiped about castmate Gina Kirschenheiter’s previous drunk driving arrest in a recently aired episode of the Bravo series.
In the episode that aired last month, the 59-year-old reality star was featured in a scene where she talked about Kirschenheiter’s 2019 DUI arrest in a conversation with Jennifer Pedranti, 46.
Beador said Kirschenheiter, 39, was “about to be arrested” and that the three children she shares with ex-husband Matthew Kirschenheiter – Nicholas, 10, Sienna, eight, and Luca, six – “would have been sent to Child Protective Services gone. ‘ if she had not intervened in her contacts with prosecutors.
The awkward subject came up on the show the following week, when the ladies were carving pumpkins, with Tamra Judge, 56, telling Beador that Kirschenheiter knew she had talked about the four-year-old incident.
Judge said, “So I’m going to have to tell you that Gina apparently pulled me aside, um, Jenn told her that you brought up CPS at your party? That CPS came for her children?’

Beador ignored that her earlier words were filmed for the Bravo reality series, claiming that Pendranti lied about the claims she made in the previous episode.
Beador said, “Jenn, you said I said CPS would come for Gina’s kids? What are you talking about? I would never say that!’
‘God kills me, then I know I didn’t say anything, okay? So stop stirring things up, Jen – Jesus Christ.”
In the segment, Kirschenheiter said she was never in danger of losing custody of her children after the drunk driving arrest.
“It’s not true,” Kirschenheiter said. “Nobody gets a DUI and then their kids are taken away from them! Let’s let this go.’
Kirschenheiter also refuted Beador’s idea, claiming that police officers would “be at her home” to arrest her.
Kirschenheiter said, “No, they weren’t, they weren’t planned. How do you know that? Have you clocked in with the police?’
Kirschenheiter said in a confessional portion of the show that she was upset by Beador spreading the untrue information about her.

When Kirschenheiter was arrested in 2019, she missed a court hearing and a warrant was subsequently issued for her arrest.
The no-show explained that Kirschenheiter’s attorney had not been notified of a request to postpone the hearing; a criminal lawyer Beador helped Kirschenheiter acquire and got the order overturned.
In the confessional, a tearful Kirschenheiter explained why she was so angry about the claims.
“I put my children before everything else, so to insinuate that the authorities would remove my children, that they would see me as an unfit parent, it sucks,” she said.
