Jennifer Garner shows her tender side as she lends a helping hand to barefoot homeless man and even tries to give him the shoes off her feet
Jennifer Garner made a touching gesture to a homeless man in Los Angeles on Sunday.
The 51-year-old actress was spotted chatting to a man in a wheelchair before offering him a care package of essentials in the parking lot of a Santa Monica beach.
Once she noticed he was barefoot, she jumped out of her car to help him put on a pair of warm socks and even tried to give him the shoes from her own feet.
The 13 Going On 30 star – who shared an affectionate moment with her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, the day before – also generously offered him food and some money.
In one video she was seen talking to the photographer and asking if she wanted to buy his shoes herself because hers were a size too small.

Thoughtful gesture: Once she noticed a homeless man in a wheelchair walking barefoot, she jumped out of her car to help him put on a pair of warm socks and even tried to give him the shoes from her own feet
After the photographer refused payment and offered his own shoes for free, he also gave her spare clothes and a blanket to give to the man.
Garner could then be heard in the video asking him to help her change the homeless man’s clothes into new clothes.
The clip also showed her showing him the items in the carefully wrapped goodie bag and opening a pack of food before handing it to him.
The mother-of-three appeared to be enjoying a walk on the beach and on her way home when she stopped to help the man.
She was spotted in casual workout clothes with a white T-shirt, dark camouflage leggings and a trucker cap.
She was seen wearing a pair of aqua-colored sneakers – which were apparently a few sizes too small for the man, but she had taken them off to see if they could still be the right size.
The beloved and award-winning actress is known for her appearances on the silver screen, but she also uses her prominent platform for good.
For more than a decade, she has worked with Save the Children – a global non-profit organization dedicated to the health, education and protection of children.

In an interview with Southern life published in November 2022, she shared that she always wanted to lend a hand to those in need because of the way she grew up.
She told the outlet that she grew up in a rural area of West Virginia.
She explained that she donates her time and effort because she saw the devastating effects of poverty all around her.
“Although I didn’t grow up poor, I was surrounded by it,” she said. “And I always said I was a generation and a shout away from rural poverty.”
For that reason, she explained that she sought out the philanthropy Save the Children because “they are absolutely the leaders helping children in rural America.”
“I have worked with Save the Children for the past fourteen years,” she told the outlet.
“And I tracked them down after researching which organization was most effective in rural America,” she continued. “Because I grew up in West Virginia, where I knew some kids who really could use a helping hand.”
