‘You completely broke me down’: Letter Russell Brand accuser wrote to the comedian after he allegedly raped her against a wall in his Los Angeles home as she says: ‘I know the devil underneath’

A woman who claims she was raped by Russell Brand against a wall in his Los Angeles home wrote a letter to the comedian telling him: ‘You completely destroyed me’.

The alleged attack is one of several claims from women who accuse him of abusive and predatory behavior, including rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse, between 2006 and 2013. Brand ‘absolutely’ denies the allegations and insists his relationships were consensual.

Nadia, who claims Brand raped her without a condom when she went to his LA home on July 1, 2012, wrote him a letter after considering and ultimately rejecting criminal or civil proceedings.

In her letter to Brand, which was originally intended for her and her therapist, Nadia wrote: ‘Do you know what you did to me? My body through? My emotions and body are turned upside down… You scared the hell out of me on July 1st.”

She continued, “I thought I would be strong enough to fight anyone off in any situation. But if it’s someone you know, you don’t expect them to end up in that position. You completely destroyed me. ‘

After the alleged attack, Nadia said she went to a rape treatment center, which she told Brand in the letter. “I didn’t see the happy man in front of me,” she wrote. “I saw a man who couldn’t control himself and the word NO is more of a challenge than a command.”

Nadia, who was in her 30s at the time, claims she exchanged numbers with Brand at a party before being invited to his home in June 2012 where they had consensual sex.

Brand later begged her to visit his home again early on the morning of July 1, after texting her during an earlier exchange, suggesting she “bring a friend.”

She then met Brand again at his home on the morning of July 1, during which she claims the comedian raped her against a wall after she told him to “get off” several times.

When she arrived at his house, she said the door was unlocked and she walked right in. She added: “He comes running out of the bedroom naked. And I’m quite surprised. I have a bag on my shoulder, a dress and a jacket over it.’

Nadia claimed Brand pushed her against a wall and kissed her. She says he then told her that “a friend” was in his bedroom waiting to join them.

She said, “I’m like, no, that’s not happening, I don’t care, that’s not happening, we’re not doing that.”

Nadia claimed that Brand then raped her without a condom. When he was done, she pushed him away and ran to the door, she claimed.

She said Brand blocked the doorway to prevent her from leaving and told her to “calm down.” She said he eventually got out of the way when she asked to go to the bathroom.

Texts seen by the Times, which Brand reportedly sent later that evening, read: “I’m sorry. That was crazy and selfish. I hope you can forgive me, I know you are a nice person. X.’ He reportedly tried to call her at 3:51 a.m., but Nadia didn’t answer.

Nadia said she didn’t respond to Brand’s text until 10:59 a.m., telling Brand he “scared me to death.” She added, “When a girl says NO, it means no. Should I get tested?’

Brand replied that he was “very sorry” and told Nadia: “You don’t have to get tested.”

Nadia went to a rape treatment center later the same day and then received five months of therapy at the clinic, according to documents seen by the Times.

Before the allegations were published, Brand shared a YouTube video in which he said he had received two “extremely disturbing letters from a ‘mainstream media TV company’ and a newspaper.”

The comedian told his fans he was accused of “a litany of extremely blatant and aggressive attacks, which are not true.”
