Starfield gets, among other things, an ‘eat’ button for food

When you find food you want to eat Starfieldyou have to pick it up to add it to your inventory, then open your inventory, find the food, Than click on it to eat it. They are a lot of menus for a small snack – and Starfield players have begged Bethesda to make that small adjustment.

Bethesda will make it happen, it turns out. On Wednesday, Bethesda has released a minor hotfix for Starfield that fixed a few bugs related to quests, but Also has announced to players that more updates are coming. The button to eat has not yet been added on Wednesday, but it will be added later Starfield‘Regular interval of updates’. The addition of an eating button may seem small – and it is. But it is these small changes that add up to major improvements in quality of life Starfieldand players are eager to make better use of the food they find in the world.

In addition to the eat button, Bethesda said it wants to tweak brightness and contrast controls, HDR calibration, a field of view slider, Nvidia DLSS support for PC, and ultrawide monitor support for PC. “We also work closely with Nvidia, AMD and Intel on driver support, and each update will include new stability and performance improvements,” Bethesda said.

Bethesda also noted that there are many more things on that list that will come after bug fixes and stability issues, such as city maps. The studio noticed that Starfield will be updated for years and that player feedback on desired features is welcome. Outside of quality of life, Bethesda is working on mod support through the Creations kit; that will be similar to the mod kit for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim And Fallout 4, Bethesda said when it will be released sometime next year.
