The TV star looks unrecognizable as he strips down to his underwear for a new campaign… can you guess who it is?
He’s known for his operatic voice and curly mustache, but Wynne Evans couldn’t have looked past his Go Compare guy persona in his last campaign.
It looks like Jamie Oliver could be vying for the title of The Naked Chef as the recent winner of Celebrity Masterchef has stripped down to his underwear in new black and white photos.
The Welsh singer, 51, took off his gear alongside Great British Sewing Bee judge Patrick Grant to help him launch a campaign to revive British underwear manufacturing.
The fashion designer’s clothing brand and social enterprise, Community Clothing, hopes to boost Welsh underwear production by launching an inclusive range of affordable and high-quality underwear, made in Wales.
And the opera singer decided to help his friend as he posed in his briefs to support the trouser-making skills of Welsh workers.

Career change: Wynne has seemingly swapped the TV ads for the daytime TV slots as he appeared on This Morning’s cooking segment on Wednesday
The pair were photographed in their pants for the Hello Boyos! campaign – a follow-up to Wonderbra’s 1994 Hello Boys campaign.
Not so long ago, the best trousers in the world were actually made in the valleys after the Welsh created the world famous Wonderbra in Pontllanfraith.
However slowly the factories started to close and Patrick hopes, with Wynne’s help, to change this.
Patrick’s company produces clothes in 42 factories in Britain and asks customers to pre-order their underwear via the Hello Boyos campaign website.
Their aim is to secure orders for 10,000 units and use this to kick-start regular production, which will hopefully lead to as many as 50 skilled employees being put back to work in the short term.
The TV judge has enlisted the help of Wynne and Welsh comedian and writer Kiri Pritchard-McLean for the campaign.
Meanwhile, Wynne has now seemingly swapped TV adverts for the daytime TV slots as he appeared on This Morning’s cooking segment on Wednesday.
The star, who was crowned Masterchef champion last Friday, appeared on the ITV show preparing his signature dish ‘Cardiff Curry’, which combines everything from chilli battered hake to madras chips.

Over the moon: The Welsh singer looked excited to serve up his signature ‘Cardiff Curry’ on the ITV daytime show
Taking to Instagram, the star beamed in the kitchen next to his trophy as he captioned the post: ‘I can’t believe I’m on @thismorning cooking with @josiegibson85 and @hollywilloughby…..I wish @chefphilvicckery is here was to hold my hand. #excited’.
The appearance comes after Wynne opened up about his struggles with mental health and admitted as much he “contemplated suicide” years before appearing on television BBC show.
In an interview after the show, the star explained that the win was a particularly “poignant moment” for him, as he attempted suicide six years earlier, reports The mirror.
Sharing his feelings after the win, he said: “When they gave me the trophy – I just get melancholy for a moment, don’t I – I remember thinking, ‘Six years ago I was considering… well, I was trying to commit suicide and now look at me. I’m standing here in a studio with the MasterChef trophy.”
‘It was a very moving moment for me.’
The radio star added that he didn’t believe he would win as Emmerdale star Amy ‘crushed it’, with Wynne left overwhelmed by his ‘amazing journey’ on Celebrity MasterChef.
He added: “I cried and all that stuff, but it was just an amazing journey. It was just an incredible journey. Can you imagine coming to cook a dessert you’ve never cooked before and then being told you’re serving it to Raymond Blanc?’
