Doctor ‘had sex with multiple women in consulting room and lied about his mother being ill to ”juggle” his girlfriends’

A doctor had sexual activities with several women in his GP practice and lied about his relatives’ illnesses in an attempt to ‘juggle’ his multiple girlfriends, a court was told.

Tom Plimmer, 40, has been hit with allegations from at least six women, including a ‘vulnerable’ colleague who claims he forced her into weekly sex sessions at his GP practice in Swindon, Wilts. The sun reported.

He then invited two women he met on dating sites to the operation and had sexual acts with them during working hours, the Doctors Tribunal heard.

Plimmer is accused of sending unsolicited photos of his genitals “taken at work” to another woman he met on a dating site. The tribunal heard as he allegedly threatened another woman, saying he knew ‘where she lives’ and if the ‘c*** takes me to the GMC I’ll slit her throat’.

It is also alleged that Plimmer lied about his mother and brother being sick so he could avoid seeing one woman and see another instead.

Plimmer’s relationship with his colleague began with an “innuendo about a chocolate bunny”, the tribunal heard via video conference.

Then, in May 2018, the Cambridge-trained doctor showed her a video of him having sex with another woman “without warning”, said Mark Monaghan, who presented the case on behalf of the General Medical Council.

He then tried to ‘kiss’ and ‘touch’ her, with Mr Monaghan claiming Plimmer would ‘come into her room with his trousers undone and flirt with her’ despite her refusing his advances.

Mr Monaghan argues that Plimmer knew the colleague was ‘vulnerable’ and showed ‘abuse of his position’.

It was further alleged that the woman walked in on Plimmer performing sexual acts in his doctor’s office several times. The tribunal also heard that he regularly sent her explicit videos, which he admitted.

In another instance, when the woman was “obviously upset,” Plimmer put his “arm around her” and led her to his office to “cheer her up.” He then placed his hands on her genitals, the tribunal was told.

There was sexual behavior with the colleague ‘on a weekly basis’, but Plimmer insists that this was ‘always consensual’. The woman was reportedly afraid to report the situation and feared she would be blamed.

Plimmer met another woman on New Year’s Eve 2019 through a dating app and brought her to his practice’s consultation room on January 3. The court heard he made a mug of tea, locked the door and she performed a sex act on him.

Mr Monaghan argued that she felt ‘uncomfortable’ because she could ‘hear people walking past’.

The tribunal was also told he met another woman, identified as Miss C, online in May 2018. The pair went to play tennis at Wimbledon and he even met her parents.

He then began making “excuses” not to see her, including that his mother had suffered “several serious strokes” and needed to be admitted to rehab.

ā€œThese excuses were deliberate lies to allow him to juggle and see other women instead,ā€ Mr Monaghan argued.

In May 2020, after the couple had been together for two years, she was said to have become concerned about his distant behaviour. He invited her to his practice and they had sex during working hours, it was claimed.

Plimmer reportedly remained “remotely attentive” but was already living with another woman, Ms D, whom he met in January 2019.

He canceled several of his first dates with Miss D, claiming he had a sick brother in the hospital. He even sent photos and ‘play by play’ updates about his brother’s alleged circumstances, despite the story being ‘completely made up’, the tribunal heard.

A fifth woman, who he also met on a dating site in 2021, claimed he would send her photos of his genitals taken at work. And a sixth woman has claimed he threatened to slit her throat.

The tribunal continues.
