Meghan will fly into Dusseldorf to join Prince Harry at the Invictus Games tonight – and she’ll check into their VERY swanky suite at a 5-star hotel

Prince Harry will be reunited with his wife Meghan at the Invictus Games after attending the opening days of the sporting event for disabled and injured military veterans solo.

She will arrive in Düsseldorf late tonight – and will enjoy a busy day of activities with her husband on the third day of the Games.

The Duchess of Sussex will check into the five-star Hyatt Hotel, where she will stay in the presidential suite.

Harry is a big hit with the crowds at the games, posing for dozens of selfies while being mobbed at every event he attends.

Even dignitaries from the 21 participating countries made sure to take a seat next to the prince.

With Meghan by his side, he will likely even be popular, as many people attending the Games have asked when she is likely to attend.

Aid workers are keeping her visit secret, but it is believed she is meeting with some schoolchildren who have been invited.

She will also likely meet the Nigerian team as Harry teases at the opening ceremony that she would be cheering them on as they discovered she is of Nigerian descent.

The Duchess revealed details of her genealogy in a podcast to reveal she was 43% Nigerian.

Harry and Meghan proved to be a winning team when they attended the 2022 Invictus Games in The Hague in the Netherlands.

The Duchess was also a supporting character in Prince Harry’s Heart of Invictus Netflix series, filmed during the 2022 Games – although her appearances in the five episodes were fleeting.

Meghan appears to be giving a speech about service, and also comments and supports Harry on a number of occasions.

In her most prominent moment, Meghan is shown at the Games opening ceremony introducing Harry on stage, in footage broadcast live at the time.

She said: “Thank you so much for your service and thank you to all the friends and family who are here and have supported you along the way.

“Because this is service, this is dedication, and this is the Invictus family.

“Please welcome my incredible husband, Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex.”

Harry then thanked his wife for the introduction and continued, “Thank you my love.”

Elsewhere, during the first episode of the series, Meghan is seen joining Harry at the November 2021 Salute to Freedom Gala in New York.

The couple can be seen arriving at the event, with the Duke confiding in the Duchess about how nervous he is about an upcoming speech.

He tells her, “We haven’t done this in a while,” as Meghan replies, “I know.”

Harry continues: ‘My heart is like digidigadigadiga.’

Later, in the fourth episode, the couple sits down to discuss the Invictus Games in The Hague.

The couple discusses how the day’s events are going ‘tense’ and ‘tough’ and they get the chance to meet the Ukrainian team.

Meanwhile, there are also shots of the couple backstage at the games as they take part in a group therapy session, before arriving for the opening ceremony where Meghan calls the crowd ‘incredible’.

In another episode, the Duke of Sussex prepares his speech in The Hague, holding several pieces of shabby paper – as he jokes, this is ‘how not to give a speech’.

As Harry laughs somewhat nervously, Meghan stands next to him in a crisp white suit and smiles – while the couple’s advisor, James Holt, reviews the duke’s notes.

James jokes to Harry, “At least you can read your writing!”

Meanwhile, the Duke, watching the speech, says, “How on earth do I pronounce that?” while pointing to a name in the text.

James and Meghan, unsure themselves, come to Harry’s aid while James says he will check the name: General Onno Eichelsheim.

General Eichelsheim is in the Royal Air Force and is the current Chief of Defense of the Netherlands, who is thanked in his speech by the Duke of Sussex for his help in putting together the 2022 Invictus Games.

Harry continues to mispronounce the name while James says he will check the correct pronunciation.

Meghan then appears to write the name into her phone and play it back to check the pronunciation of the name.

She continues to repeat the statement out loud to help her husband, and plays the automation again, laughing as she says, “One more time.”

In the next scene, Harry gives his speech and reaches the name he has difficulty pronouncing. He takes a pause and takes a deep breath before doing so, causing a laugh from the audience.

He then pronounces the name perfectly as a beaming Meghan looks on proudly.

And the Duchess doesn’t appear at all in any of the episodes – despite the Invictus Games being a major milestone for the couple in their relationship.

The Invictus Games were where the couple chose to make their first public appearance together nearly five years ago.

Meghan made her first appearance at an official engagement that Harry attended on September 24, 2017, when she attended the opening ceremony of the Invictus Games in Toronto, Canada, although the couple sat about 18 seats apart.
