Former NFL star and TV analyst Adam “Pacman” Jones was arrested Monday morning at an airport near Cincinnati for “intoxication and terroristic threats.”
The 39-year-old, who last played in the NFL in 2018, was thrown off a flight at Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) shortly after 6 a.m. and was arrested before takeoff.
According to multiple media reports, police were called to the scene around 6 a.m. to deal with an “unruly passenger.”
Jones – who regularly appears on ESPN’s Pat McAfee Show – was booked by police for terroristic threats and DUI, as confirmed to the media by Boone County Jail Capt. Kevin Klute.
He was released later on Monday morning and spoke to reporters outside the prison, where he called his accusations ‘bulls***’.

“Do I look drunk?” Jones asked a reporter, in a video posted by WKRC. “I was only locked up for two hours.”
‘You’re talking about half past six in the morning. Who the hell is drunk at 5:30 in the morning, man?’
It is currently unclear what prompted the confrontation and arrest on the plane, but Jones urged the journalists present to “report the damn facts.”
Shortly before his arrest, Jones posted on social media to complain about the Bengals’ loss to Cleveland on Sunday.
He is best known for his time at Cincinnati, where he played seven NFL seasons with the team from 2010 to 2017. During that time, he was voted to the Pro Bowl in 2015 and was a first-team All-Pro in 2014.
Elsewhere, Jones also played for the Titans, Cowboys and Broncos, ending his career in 2018.
The former cornerback has a checkered past, having been arrested multiple times in the past and previously suspended by the Bengals.

He infamously got into a brawl at Atlanta Airport in 2008, although police later determined he was not the aggressor.
In October 2008, he was involved in an altercation with his bodyguard at a Dallas hotel, which led to him being suspended four games by the NFL for violating its personal conduct policy.
In February 2019, police arrested Jones at an Indiana casino after allegations of cheating at the blackjack table he was sitting at.
Jones reportedly “immediately became verbally combative and disorderly” and was arrested at 3 a.m. on charges of disorderly conduct, intimidation, resisting arrest and public intoxication.
