The Block stars Kristy and Brett launch extraordinary spray against Nine accusing network of favoring sisters Liberty and Eliza: ‘F**king privilege’
Block contestants Kristy and Brett launched an extraordinary spray against Channel Nine during Sunday’s episode, accusing the network of playing favorites.
The married couple, both 34, became very upset when they noticed fellow Blockhead Liberty being driven around to do their shopping by foreman Dan, and lashed out on camera.
‘Liberty and Eliza get all kinds of gifts every week. I don’t know how they blew their budget because they get money every day,” Kristy said.
‘They get everything handed to them on a silver platter: ‘You woke up this morning! Here’s $500.’ You know what? We get a handout every damn day of the week, then we’re nice.’
Kristy referenced an incident earlier this week, when host Scott Cam gave Liberty and her sister Eliza $500 for being the “most improved team,” much to the dismay of others.

However, a producer refuted Kristy’s claim, telling the Adelaide couple that all contestants were treated equally while on the show.
‘I don’t need any reassurance. If this is how we feel, then this is how we feel,” Brett shot back.
It comes after sisters Eliza, 37, and Liberty, 34, went on a wild radio interview last month, revealing secret details about this season’s ‘mean girl cliques’ and ‘w**ky’ new judge Marty Fox .

Liberty got a harsh word from Marty about her skills when he said the studio room she designed in last week’s episodes would have looked better “empty.”
Nevertheless, she and sister Eliza said he was mostly “a nice guy” behind the scenes, but “a little weird” when it came time to film.
A fan favorite from season 19, the Melbourne sisters have remained ‘amicable’ with their fellow amateur renovators after filming.
‘Liberty and Eliza get all kinds of gifts every week. I don’t know how they blew their budget because they get money every day,” said an irate Kristy.
But it looks like not all teams left the series on good terms, as the duo on KIIS 101.1’s Jase & Lauren revealed that the groups are no longer speaking to each other.
‘You can already sense an undertone of mean girl culture between a few people. “That is unfortunately becoming more and more intense to the point where it is coming to a head,” they admitted.
‘There are so many broken relationships. I think the real struggle is that Leah and Kristy from Houses 2 and 3 were this clique and it was mean. So the rest of us are hurt.”
Eliza and Liberty went on to say that all the teams had a group chat during filming, but “not a single message has been sent” since The Block aired.
Brett rejected claims that Liberty and Eliza were not given preferential treatment, saying he and Kristy strongly believed that they were
