Joe Jonas gets emotional as he breaks his silence on his divorce from Sophie Turner after four years of marriage during a concert in LA: ‘It’s been a tough week’

Joe Jonas shed some light on how he’s been doing since news broke of his recent divorce from his wife of four years, Sophie Turner.

While performing in front of a sold-out crowd at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on Saturday night, the 34-year-old singer broke his silence on their decision to call it quits.

‘It’s been a tough week. I just want to say, look, if you don’t hear it from these lips, don’t believe it. Okay?’ the Sucker hitmaker said during an emotional interlude.

‘Thank you everyone for your love and support. Me and my family love you,” he continued.

After his statement, Joe and his brothers sang Hesitate, which he has dedicated to Sophie in the past.

Joe filed for divorce from the Game of Thrones actress on September 5, saying the union was “irretrievably broken” and the reason for the divorce was a difference in lifestyle.

The now-former couple released a joint statement on Instagram at the time, saying: “After four wonderful years of marriage, we have jointly decided to amicably end our marriage.”

They continued: ‘There are many speculative stories as to why, but this is truly a joint decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.’

The couple share two young daughters and almost immediately after the Only Human crooner filed for divorce in Miami, he said his daughters mainly lived with him on tour.

Sources also claimed that the reason for the split was the Do Revenge star’s penchant for partying.

However, Sophie has been quoted several times in the past saying that she is a homebody.

The couple started dating in 2016 when Turner was 20 and Jonas was 27.
