The East Wing announced this on Thursday. The first lady, 72, had tested positive on Monday, after a weekend in which she and her husband visited victims of the storm in Florida, then flew to Philadelphia for a Labor Day event with union workers on Monday.

The president boarded Air Force One on Thursday en route to India for the G20 summit. According to the White House, he received negative test results on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
