But fans may not know that the role has propelled her to a budding Hollywood career, as she’s set to star in a new romantic comedy filming next month on Queensland’s K’gari Fraser Island.
The actress, 32, was spotted in Sydney’s North Bondi on Thursday taking a stroll with a takeaway coffee in hand.
She kept a low profile and wore a black Nike cap and a black bomber jacket over a black dress.
Her hair was straight and straight, while she opted for a makeup-free face for the outing.

The actress in question is Rhiannon Fish, who played April Scott in Home and Away from 2010 to 2013.
Rhiannon will star in an upcoming romcom titled He Loves Me Not and will play an American contestant in a bachelor-style reality show who enters the dating contest for the money, but ends up falling in love.
The Australian-produced film will also star 58-year-old Georgie Parker, the beloved star of Channel Seven’s classic 1980s soap opera A Country Practice.

Queensland filmmaker Tam Sainsbury will direct the film and is currently finalizing the locations on K’gari Fraser Island ahead of filming in October, The Courier Mail reports.
Fraser Island, famous for its spectacular scenery, is located off the coast of Queensland, 250 km north of Brisbane.

Tam plans to use the luxurious Kingfisher Bay Resort as a major location for the film.
“There are so many beautiful places on the island, we’re really lucky,” she told The Courier Mail on Wednesday.
‘It’s actually about an American actor who lives and works on K’gari (Fraser Island).
“She wants to take an acting course, but she has no money. Then she finds out that a reality show is coming to the island and is asked to join the show as a wildcard.

‘But gradually love for the protagonist develops.’
This is the second movie Tam has filmed at the famed tourist destination in the last 12 months, having completed 13 Summers with Bec Hewitt and Georgie Parker earlier this year.
Rhiannon, meanwhile, shot to fame in 2010 after playing the character of April on Seven’s soap opera Home and Away.
The Canadian-born actress later starred in the Disney TV series As the Bell Rings.
