The Madison Keys quarterfinal matchup with Marketa Vondrousova at Arthur Ashe Stadium was postponed Wednesday night as a fan was treated for an undisclosed medical issue.
The game was delayed just over eight minutes because a male patron got help.
Keys and Vondrousova had already entered the game at that point, with the American serving in the opening game.
The No. 17 seed has a one-set lead over the No. 9 Czech at the time of writing.
During playtime, Keys generously brought water and towels to a guard so they could be passed on to those helping the male patron.
