Federal prosecutors plan to indict Hunter Biden on gun charges by the end of the month

Federal prosecutors plan to indict Hunter Biden on gun charges by the end of the month.

A new lawsuit signed by special counsel David Weiss on Wednesday found that to abide by the Speedy Trial Act, a grand jury would have to file an indictment “at the earliest” September 29.

“The government intends to seek the return of charges in this case before that date. Thus, the government believes that no Court action is required at this time,” Weiss said in the filing.
