Nick Cave’s son Earl joined the posh Nicola Roberts at the Rolling Stones Hackney Diamonds launch event in London on Wednesday.

The 22-year-old actor reflected his rock star dad’s bold image in an oversized satin navy shirt and distressed jeans.

He completed his look with a pair of chunky black boots and styled his hair in a messy, textured look.

Nicola, 37, wore an elegant black T-shirt with wide-leg trousers and sky-high platform heels.

She styled her red hair straight and opted for a subtle make-up look to complete her casual outfit.

During the special live event with Jimmy Fallon, the Rolling Stones have announced the release date of their new album Hackney Diamonds and single Angry.

Arriving at London’s Hackney Empire to a crowd of screaming fans, Sir Mike Jagger80, Keith Richards, 79, y Ronnie Wood, 76, revealed that the record will fall on October 20.

On what will be their first album of original songs in 18 years and the first without the late drummer Charlie Watts, the rock ‘n’ roll legends revealed he would star on two tracks, saying, “Of course he will be missed.”

Released at the event, Angry follows a Francois Rousselet-directed music video starring American actress Sydney Sweeney, who appeared in the audience.

During his speech on stage, Keith reflected on Charlie’s passing and said, “It’s been different since Charlie’s been gone, he’s number four.”

The guitarist continued, “He’s missing, of course he’s missed incredibly, but thanks to Charlie, we have Steve Jordan, who recommended him if anything were to happen to him.

“He’s been a friend of ours, so he was a natural progression. It would have been a lot harder without Charlie’s blessing.’

Sir Mick added that there are twelve tracks on the album and while Jordan features most of the tracks, two tracks were recorded with Charlie in 2019.

Charlie died in August 2021 at the age of 80, surrounded by his family in hospital – weeks after pulling out of the US tour to recover from emergency heart surgery.

The London-born drummer joined the then fledgling band in 1963 after meeting Mick, Keith and Brian Jones while playing in rhythm and blues clubs.

Along with Mick and Keith, he appeared on every studio album by the band. He was widely regarded as one of the greatest drummers of all time

Frontman Sir Mick has announced that the band will be releasing a new single called Angry and an accompanying video.

Of their new song, he explained, “I don’t mean to be magnanimous, but we wouldn’t have released this album if we hadn’t really liked it.”
