Naomi Campbell, 53, storms the runway in a SEE-THROUGH dress she designed as she debuts her PrettyLittleThing collaboration during NYFW

Naomi Campbell revealed her legendary runway skills when she modeled in her own PrettyLittleThing New York Fashion Week show.

The 53-year-old fashion veteran – who attended the US Open this week – debuted a series of stylish pieces she designed with the fashion retailer in the biggest collaboration to date.

The 1990s supermodel looked phenomenal in a rock-encrusted halterneck dress.

The maxi-style piece matched her fit, six-foot-tall frame and featured a sheer, black base below the accessories.

A description of the cooperation on PLTs official website states that the collection “pays homage to Naomi’s legacy and iconic signature style.”

The collaboration was developed by the founder of the fashion brand, Umar Kamani, who happens to be very good friends with the legendary catwalk queen.

Themes featured in the star-studded runway show included halter neck silhouettes, mini dresses and sheer materials.

Stars like Julia Fox, Emily Ratajkowski and Lori Harvey stepped out in style as they attended the debut.

Emily showed off very busty in a plunging, mustard, sheer minidress, while Lori chose a low-cut, sheer black number for the classy occasion.

Campbell’s look was timeless as she paired the outfit with simple black pointed toe leather pumps.

She also made sure her jewelry looked low-key and understated, wearing nothing but a pair of sparkly, medium-sized hoop earrings and a single diamond ring.

Her dark locks were arranged to look like this: straight and long, with the locks styled in the middle and reaching far past her backside.

Last month, it was revealed that Naomi had signed a deal for the groundbreaking partnership with the fashion giant.

Shot in Los Angeles earlier this year, the collection combines her style with the online brand’s commitment to providing celebrity-inspired looks at an affordable price.

After news of Naomi’s collaboration with PLT, some expressed distaste for her promotion of ‘fast fashion’.

But Naomi reacted back when she revealed how important it was for her to partner with the leading fashion brand to help the designers she worked with.

She said Women’s clothing everyday: ‘I see myself as a changemaker. As a changemaker, I thought this was a good thing to do.

‘I know it’s fast fashion and people have their criticisms. I don’t deny them.

“But as a changemaker, I thought this was a great way to drive change in the industry by getting my emerging designers recognized and seeing them on a global platform.”

Naomi – who has spoken openly about her issues with racism in the fashion world – also discussed her thoughts on “diversity” in the industry today.

She explained, “I’m so about the word. Here’s my point – I feel like so many people just use that word to check a box, to make sure they don’t get called out or anything like that.

‘I don’t use that word. For me, it’s not about using the word or checking a box; it’s about doing the action, the pure action. It’s giving a piece of your platform and sharing it with someone who’s talented.”

Ahead of Tuesday’s debut, Naomi shared a first look at her work with PrettyLittleThing with a gorgeous new black and white photo posted online the last week of August.

The fashion industry veteran brought her unique, timeless style to the brand with this one-off project.

A spokesperson for the brand told MailOnline last month: ‘This exclusive collection will intertwine the essence of PLT with Naomi’s unique style, promising a fashion experience like no other.

“PrettyLittleThing designed by Naomi Campbell – a new chapter in our fashion story – is about to begin.”
