ABC star Leigh Sales reveals her very surprising celebrity crush: ‘I would love to interview him!’

She has talked to hundreds of celebrities during her long TV career.

But on Tuesday, ABC star Leigh Sales revealed which celebrity she hasn’t interviewed yet and would like to meet.

During her appearance on The Cheap Seats, the former 7.30 presenter revealed that she has become a ‘radicalised fan’ of Harry Styles.

“You know who I would really like to interview, it’s Harry Styles,” she revealed.

“I love him, I have become a radicalized Harry Styles fan after seeing his concerts on TikTok.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Leigh took a brutal swipe at Karl Stefanovic.

The journalist joked that the star of the Today show was “not a real journalist” as she revealed which Australian presenter she had interviewed and who surprised her.

“You speak to some incredible names in Australian journalism. Annabel Crabb, Karl Stefanovic, Tracy Grimshaw, David Spears, who surprised you most of the people you spoke to?’ asked host Tim McDonald.

“I actually thought you’d say you’ve spoken to some incredible names in journalism, and Karl Stefanovic,” she joked.

“But he’s great at what he does, as the numbers show.”

She went on to say that her interview with Karl surprised her as he revealed how nervous he was at the start of his career.

“You know, Karl actually kind of surprised me, because he talked about how nervous he was when he first started, and he said he was sweating profusely,” she explained.
