Shaggy dog has eerie outline of his own face in his tail

A dog owner has revealed her shock after seeing her puppies’ face on his own bottom.

Alyson Shorthouse, from Wolverhampton, was stunned to see an image of her mother’s Irish Wolfhound, named OD, on his own tail.

Alyson said she made the shocking discovery while OD was having fun in the yard, where she saw him excitedly chasing his tail.

Upon closer inspection, she noticed the eerie outline of the pup’s face in the fur around its buttocks.

The image mimicked OD’s entire face, including the gray fringe fur, the long ears, and even the almond-shaped eyes.

A stunned Alison couldn’t believe the sight and quickly posted the photo online, where she joked, “My mom’s dog is kind of two-faced.”

The image shows OD backwards, making it easy to compare his face to the likeness on his tail.

The dog comes across as stoic, while the image of the twins comes across as bleak and perhaps even terrifying.

Puzzled users took to the post to joke about the sighting, with one person writing, “A tail of two faces.”

Despite the bizarre nature of the encounter, they are not as rare as you might expect.

Earlier this year, Kate Conlon, of Boston, Massachusetts, was stunned when she saw a dog’s face in her Espresso Martini.

While at a local bar, the mother asked for a late night treat—usually made with freshly brewed coffee, coffee liqueur, and vodka—expecting that she would simply finish the drink and be on her way home.

But Kate couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw the face of a cute little dog staring at her from the bottom of the glass.

She pulled out her phone to capture the eerie moment, which showed the foam in the shape of a dog’s head, with coffee beans acting as noses and eyes.

And people were amazed at the strangely shaped foam, which also protruded a dog’s ear, making the resemblance uncanny.

Kate shared her shock on social media, writing, “Look what I found at the end of my Espresso Martini.”

One person replied, “Why is it so cute?”

“That’s a Puppachino!” said another.

‘Oh poor puppy. Please don’t swallow it.’ added another one.

Meanwhile, one person expressed concern about the frothy animal, telling Kate, “Looks like you’re choking it.”
