Terrifying moment when a roadside tradie loses the plot after a driver pulls over to make sure everything is okay
A broken-down trader on the side of a remote highway in Australia has been filmed hurling a diatribe of furious assault at a motorist who stopped to help him.
The terrifying interaction took place last Thursday and was shared on the Dash Cam Owners of Australia social media page on Monday.
The driver of the ute, equipped with a dashcam, flashes his lights at the broken-down ute, which has its hood popped open and smoke billowing from the engine, before coming to a stop next to the vehicle.
The bizarre footage then shows Tradie, standing in the road and dressed in dirty hi-vis workwear, saying to the Good Samaritan, “Don’t blink your lights at me, mate, what’s going on?”
The driver seems baffled by the reaction and mumbles a partial answer before the tradie unleashes an extended rant at him.
“Don’t start on me and don’t blink your goddamn lights,” shouts the broken-down driver.
“I just blew up my engine.”
‘What the hell’s your problem? Get out of the car, mate.’
“Get started now!”
The driver, who seemed willing to lend a hand, slowly drives off, telling the man, “You’re a mental buddy.”
This seems to infuriate the tradie even more, who yells “f*** off c***” back as the driver drives off.

But the foul-mouthed tradie yells a rant of swear words at him, prompting him to drive off
The broken-down car appears to be a single-cab Toyota LandCruiser LC79, which retails for anywhere from $85,000 to $115,000 depending on model and spec, with the driver apparently spending extra on tray modifications.
Viewers on the clip were perplexed by the tradie’s reaction.
“Don’t everyone just flick their lights to show you’ve seen them,” said one.
“You wonder how he drove before this,” said another.
“No doubt he missed at least a few oil changes and doesn’t look like it,” a third added.
