A man allegedly behind a high-speed crash that killed a brother and sister has been slapped with a series of charges by police.
Alina Kauffman, 24, and her brother, Ernesto Salazer, 15, were killed at about 9:20pm Friday when a suspected stolen Mercedes collided with their Toyota Echo in Heckenberg, southwest Sydney.
After hitting the Toyota Echo that Mrs. Kauffman was driving, the Mercedes hit a stationary Toyota RAV4 and flipped onto its side.
A man, 20, who was reportedly driving the Mercedes fled the scene before turning himself in to Liverpool police station on Saturday.
He has been charged with dangerous driving and negligence resulting in death, as well as failing to stop at the scene of an accident and driving while disqualified.
A man has been charged after a supposedly stolen Mercedes collided with another car on a suburban street, killing a brother and sister (pictured, emergency services at the scene of the accident)
Police are also looking for a person who took a sickening video of the siblings dying or dead in the aftermath of the crash.
