An impatient driver was caught on CCTV as he entered the wrong lane while trying to overtake a stationary car at a traffic light.

The horrific incident happened at around 7.40pm on Thursday 31 August at Shear Brow, at Four Lane Ends junction, Blackburn.

As the silver Seat entered the right lane, a cyclist on a bright blue bicycle collided head-on with the vehicle and was thrown from his bicycle into the air.

The Seat was parked on a nearby street with a hole in the shattered windshield and several dents on the bonnet.
