Katie Holmes attended the 2023 US Open Tennis Championships, held Friday afternoon in New York City.
The 44-year-old performer was a fashionable figure at the sporting event, spending time with one of her friends.
The actress – who is known for her eclectic dress sense – donned a cream long-sleeved patterned polo shirt as she cheered on the athletes taking part in the competition.
Holmes tucked her top into a pair of jeans and contrasted it with a pair of jet black leather shoes.
The Dawson’s Creek star eventually removed her top and wrapped it around her shoulders, revealing a crisp white tank top.

The film is based on Kathleen Tessaro’s novel of the same name, which was originally published in 2016.
The film revolves around a young woman who tries to rebuild her life by working in an antique shop while dealing with her troubled past.
In addition to starring in the film, Holmes co-wrote the script with Phaedon A. Papadopoulos and served as the director and producer.
The project was her third overall directorial effort, and her first two projects, titled All We Had and Alone Together, were released in 2016 and 2022, respectively.
The cast of the feature film included Julia Mayorga, Derek Luke and Alan Cumming.

Holmes spoke about working on the feature film during an interview with Varietywhere she revealed why she chose to take on the project.
She said, “I was drawn to the female friendship and this metaphor of ‘you’re prettier because you’re broken.’
The filmmaker added that ‘the screenplay has taken many different forms, which was great because you learn exactly the story you want to tell. So it is very satisfying that the film will come out.’
Rare Objects received mostly mixed reviews from critics and currently holds a 43% rating Rotten tomatoes.
