Joe Swash has hit back at criticism of his wife Stacey Solomon after they left for a £3,000-a-week luxury holiday in Turkey.
The presenter, 41, responded to the trolling by insisting they ‘work hard’ to earn the chance to enjoy the breaks and ‘spend time’ with their family.
“We’re in the public eye, so you have to take the rough with the smooth, and not everyone is going to agree with us,” he said. The mirror.
“We work very hard and try to take our children on holiday. We just work hard so we can spend more time and do more things with our family.
“People are going to try it, but it’s fine that they can give their opinion and we take it with a grain of salt.”

His comments come after Stacey appeared to hit back at her haters, urging them to “unfollow” her if her posts don’t make them feel good.
In an Instagram Story post, Stacey wrote, “I’ll be doing a little holiday Q&A tomorrow night on my way to work, so feel free to ask.”
The Loose Women star added, “If sharing our holiday doesn’t make you feel good then unfollow me or just mute me or something.” I love coming here and sharing things so much and I love our community here.
“All I ever want is to take you on an adventure and hopefully make you laugh along the way.”
Stacey’s slap appeared to come after some of her followers criticized her for “not living in the real world anymore.”
The family stayed at the Regnum Carya resort in Antalya for ten days, which would have cost about £4,000.
The resort, where Jennifer Lopez has previously stayed, boasts its own private beach, 15 bars, an epic water park, eight pools and 10 a la carte restaurants, as well as its own patisserie and lavish spa.
Despite claiming she got a discount for the outing, many of her followers commented that many of them couldn’t afford something like that.

They complained and suggested that she was no longer recognizable, and some even went so far as to make it more expensive.
Joe and Stacey took their big brood on a sun-soaked vacation.
The former X Factor star is mum to Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 12, with her exes, while Joe has son Harry, 16, with his former partner.
The couple also have three children together: Rex, four, Rose, 22 months, and six-month-old Belle.
