Trader Joe’s has brought back one of its popular fall treats much to the delight of fans.

Just in time for Pumpkin Spice Latte season (aka PSL), the supermarket chain’s Apple and Pumpkin Hand Pies are making a comeback.

If you get your hands on the delicious pastry, it will cost you $4.49 for a box of two and will provide foodies with a delicious treat that will only be available in stores for a limited time.

“Each is made with a blend of pumpkin puree, freshly peeled Northern Spy apples, rich cream and zesty pumpkin pie spice, all wrapped in a hand-folded, flaky, oh-so-buttery crust, and baked to a delicious, golden brown,” said Trader Joe’s.

But one foodie wasn’t a fan of the patisserie’s comeback, writing: ‘Absolutely so dry! And the cinnamon apple cider donuts were chewy and old tasting. Come on guys I am a baker by trade and this stuff was not good.

‘You have to switch suppliers or taste the products before we spend a lot of money. Don’t waste your (pennies) on either one.”

Another TikTok user reacted badly to it, adding, “I wasn’t a fan of the apple pumpkin hand pies (to be honest)!! I ate one and it gave me acid reflux and digestive problems.”

If you want to do a taste test, the butter crust hand pies can be reheated in an oven or air fryer at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for just five to 10 minutes.

Each hand pie contains 360 calories per serving.

One Reddit user said that Trader Joe’s has signs up at the checkout with the exact date his pumpkin palooza starts so fall lovers can begin the official countdown. Usually this is from the end of August to the beginning of September.

An Instagram user claimed that the seasonal festivities started on September 5.

The brand offers other addictive seasonal treats, such as the Petite Pumpkin Spice Cookies, Pumpkin Waffles, and Pumpkin Rolls.
