Amanda Holden has broken her silence over Andrew Tate’s criticism of her racy photos and revealed that despite the temptation, she refused to retaliate.

In July, the Heart FM presenter, 52, tweeted a racy image of herself enjoying a poolside shower in a sexy black bikini, prompting a vicious backlash from the former Big Brother contestant, who was called “the king of the toxic masculinity’.

In response to Amanda’s tweet with her photo, Tate, 36, who is currently under house arrest in Bucharest over sex trafficking allegations, wrote: “You are a wife and a mother and you are well past your teens. This message is not necessary.’

In an interview with The Telegraph, the TV and radio star, mother of Lexi, 17, and Hollie, 11, with husband Chris Hughes, said: “Honestly, I had another photo of me in a bikini with just a close-up of… .of my ass…

Elsewhere in the interview, Amanda has maintained that she doesn’t see herself covering up “any time soon” after facing criticism for her racy outfits in the past.

The stunner insisted she dress for herself and no one else, and doesn’t see herself going for a more modest look just yet.

Amanda previously received a whopping 235 Ofcom complaints during the 2020 series of the British talent show for wearing a plunging dress.

When asked if she wants to cover up for Amanda, she said, “Absolutely not! I will always listen to myself first, because I dress for myself and no one else.

“So if you see me one day dressed in a Victorian bathing suit, it’s because everything fell to the floor and I’ve decided, today is the day I’m going to cover up.”

She added, “Honestly, I don’t see that happening any time soon, dear.”

However, Amanda laughed off his criticism, saying she has reached an age where she no longer cares about what other people think of her.

The presenter spoke of how she feels women are still held to a different standard than men, citing the age-old prejudice that if a woman sleeps with many men then “she is a slut” while if a man does the same, he’s a slut. ‘playboy’.

At the start of this year’s BGT series, Amanda insisted she doesn’t want any complaints from Ofcom about her racy outfits on the ITV talent show.

Amanda has dismissed previous criticism, previously telling MailOnline that those who object to her sartorial choices “have too much time on their hands.”

Bruno Tonioli, 67, joined the jury this year and, according to Amanda, has no problem showing off his dancer’s physique.

She joked, “Here’s the problem, everyone talks about my tits and his are out all the time. No Ofcom complaints about me this year please!’

Bruno also defended his opponent, saying, ‘If you’ve got it, show it off! I don’t understand this complaining. She’s a beautiful woman.’

Amanda sparked 235 complaints from Ofcom during the 2020 series when she took to the stage in a deep navy blue dress that some believed was inappropriate for a family show.

Another revealing outfit donned by the star became one of the most complained TV moments of 2017, with 663 viewers reaching out to the regulator about it.

The presenter wore Julien Macdonald’s controversial dress worth £11,250 after admitting days earlier that she was again seeking complaints, saying: ‘Will people complain to Ofcom? I hope so, I really do.’

Amanda joked about how much attention her breasts and sassy ensembles get and previously joked that they need their own representation and will appear in Piers Morgan’s Life Stories.

She said, “I seriously think my girls need separate representation with me because they’re known in their own right. They don’t need me, they’re going to do Piers Morgan’s Life Stories on their own next year!
